The Film Office promotes the interests of all attending filmmakers and industry guests, and lays out the best possible means of screening and promoting your film at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. During the Festival, the Film Office is situated on the third floor of the Festival Center in De Doelen.

Industry Services & Consultants
The Film Office facilitates contacts between representatives of films in the official programme, festival programmers and international buyers present at the festival.
Together with the festival’s Programme department and Sales Club, the Film Office will ensure that distributors and buyers are fully informed about, and able to view, the newly completed films in the festival programme, and will enhance the potential for film acquisition by facilitating contacts between buyers and filmmakers / producers who represent a film in the festival programme.
As part of the Film Office's service, the Industry consultants will inform both filmmakers and buyers about the selected films, the attending industry guests, local filmmarket developments and the internationale festival circuit. The Film Office is represented by Rik Vermeulen, Marnix van Wijk, Matt Blackhall, Nina Pece, Thomas Crommentuyn, Corine Meijers, Mary Davies, Lucius Barre, Jannie Langbroek and Hayet Benkara.

Press & Industry Screenings coordinates the Video Library, and distributes all relevant film and contact data to distributors, sales agents and producers worldwide. After the festival visitor listings of the Press and Industry Screenings will be send out to the films’ rights Holders.
Rights List 2008 (pdf)The Rights List, sent out several times prior to the festival and available during the festival, details all feature length films not currently represented by an international sales agent.
Distributor Letter 2008 (pdf)
The distributor Letter list the complete festival line-up of feature lenght films (50 minutes or longer) both fiction and documentary. The list includes sales contacts and rights information.

Video Library
Guest badge holders are welcome to use the Video Library to view festival titles.
Sales and Industry Club
Buyers and Sellers are invited to visit the Sales and Industry Club on the fourth floor of professional center de Doelen. Here you will find information stands, coffee facilities, and WiFi.
Service Center Mail boxes, Xerox machine and online computers are located in the Service Center on the third floor of the Festival’s professional center De Doelen. You are kindly asked to regularly check and collect your mail. Badge holders can use the online computers in the Service Center and, at your own expense, fax and photo copying facilities. In the Willem Burger Foyer, online computers are placed to check your e-mail.
Film Office Events Events organized by the Film Office include Meet the Programmer (Saturday 26, Wednesday 30); daily Festival Late Night Drinks and the Industry Party. Further information accredited guests will receive upon arrival.
